Cookie Notice

Easy Budget Checker uses required framework/session technologies and a user-requested local appearance preference. Where enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand basic page usage. Analytics starts by default unless this environment is configured to require an explicit choice, and you can turn it off in Settings at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores through your browser. Similar technologies may keep a live application connection or carry a short-lived security token. This notice uses "cookies" as a practical shorthand for both.

Google Analytics	Helps us understand page visits and basic site usage. When analytics is active, Google may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> first-party cookies. Google lists a default expiration of two years for both cookies, subject to browser limits. Financial values, form entries, names, account identifiers, and Google sign-in identity are not intentionally sent.	Optional analytics

The exact cookie names and expiration periods may be assigned by ASP.NET Core, Google, or Microsoft Azure and may change with security or platform updates. Authentication cookies are considered necessary because the signed-in service cannot operate without them.

Analytics controls

When Google Analytics is enabled for an environment, it normally starts by default. Settings lets you turn it off or back on for this browser. Turning analytics off does not disable cookies required for security, authentication, or core service operation. The choice and notice version are saved in this browser's local storage. Server-side Application Insights may still be used for operational monitoring.

Advertising and other optional cookies

Advertising, remarketing, and personalized-ad storage remain disabled. If those purposes or other materially different optional cookies are introduced later, this notice and the applicable choice will be updated before they are enabled. Turning analytics off removes the Google Analytics cookies that this site can access and stops additional page-view events from this browser.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, saving, antiforgery protection, or interactive features from working. Clearing local storage resets the appearance choice to System. Browser help documentation explains how to manage storage.
