Privacy Notice

Version 2026-07-22-alpha.10

This notice explains what Easy Budget Checker collects, why it is used, how to download a copy, and how to request deletion. We design the service to collect only the information reasonably needed for household financial planning.

Who operates this service

Admix LLC, a Michigan limited liability company doing business as Admix Software, operates Easy Budget Checker and is responsible for the collection and handling of information described in this Privacy Notice. The service is intended only for US residents who are at least 18 years old.

Information we collect

  • Planning information: income, recurring costs, balances and payments, flexible budgets, savings plans, household allocations, Quick Check previews, named goals, and snapshots that you choose to enter or save.
  • Optional labels: nicknames or labels for household members, jobs, expenses, balances, accounts, snapshots, and goals. These labels do not need to contain real names.
  • Account information: when sign-in is enabled, identifiers and basic account details provided through Google and Microsoft Azure authentication. We do not receive or store your Google password.
  • Account-management records: last-login and last-activity timestamps, legal-document versions and acceptance timestamps, and a limited activity history for events such as saving a plan, creating a snapshot or goal, exporting data, or requesting deletion.
  • Product feedback: a suggestion category and comment you choose to submit, plus the page path, application version, environment, active color theme, UTC submission time, and local-session label needed to understand the report. Query strings, financial values, IP addresses, full browser identifiers, and referrer details are not intentionally collected with product feedback.
  • Technical information: security, diagnostic, request, and error information needed to operate and protect the service. This may include safe route templates, request methods and status codes, timing, dependency and exception types, application version, environment, and trace correlation. Hosting and rate-limit controls may process source-network information; the application security-audit record does not include the raw source address. User-facing activity history and operational telemetry are configured not to contain financial values, request or response bodies, form values, cookies, authentication headers or tokens, SQL text or parameters, item labels, tax inputs, or free-form comments.
  • Optional browser analytics: where Google Analytics is enabled, it may receive the page path and title, the prior Easy Budget Checker page, session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie identifier to distinguish browsers and sessions. We strip query strings and do not intentionally send financial amounts, names, form entries, account identifiers, Google sign-in identifiers, Quick Check values, or feedback comments to Google Analytics.

Do not enter Social Security numbers, bank or credit-card account numbers, banking credentials, addresses, policy numbers, exact birth dates, or real financial documents. Easy Budget Checker does not connect to your bank in the alpha release. Do not put sensitive identifiers or detailed financial values into product-feedback comments.

How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide calculations, comparisons, saved plans, snapshots, goals, and account features you request.
  • Create the budget workbook or structured data copy you request.
  • Authenticate users, isolate household data, maintain sessions, and record legal acceptance.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service, including reviewing product feedback.
  • Understand which pages are used and where visitors stop when browser analytics is enabled.
  • Respond to support, deletion, legal, and security requests.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce the service's Terms.

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

Service providers and disclosures

Google may provide sign-in and optional Google Analytics services. Microsoft Azure may provide authentication, application hosting, database, security, and server-side monitoring services. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms, depending on the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections. We do not give household financial plans to data brokers.

Downloading your data

Settings provides a readable Excel-compatible budget workbook and a ZIP archive containing structured JSON and CSV views. A guest download contains only information available to that current live session. A signed-in download uses the same owner and household isolation as saved account data. A recent sign-in is required before a signed-in user can download the complete ZIP archive.

The self-service archive may contain planning data, active Quick Check inputs, snapshots, goals, activity, suggestions, and applicable account-management records. It excludes authentication cookies, provider subjects, tokens, credentials, secrets, and protected abuse-detection details. Files are generated on request and streamed to your browser; Easy Budget Checker does not retain a durable server copy of the generated file. The downloaded file contains sensitive financial information, so store it securely and delete copies you no longer need.

The self-service archive is not represented as every internal record about an account. To request access to other personal information, contact legal@easybudgetchecker.com. We may verify your identity and may withhold or protect security-sensitive information as permitted by applicable law.

Cookies

The service uses cookies and similar session technologies that are necessary for security, antiforgery protection, Blazor connectivity, sessions, and authentication. A light or dark override is stored locally only when you select one in Settings. Where enabled, Google Analytics starts by default unless the environment requires an explicit choice. You can turn analytics off without losing service features, turn it back on later, or use browser controls to block it. See the Cookie Notice.

Retention

Guest planning information ordinarily exists only in the live server-side application session. It is not written to the durable financial database or browser storage. Closing or reloading the tab, losing the connection, or ending the session can make that information unrecoverable. A disconnected circuit may remain on the server briefly until bounded framework retention expires, but it is not offered as a recovery method.

If you explicitly choose to sign in and save meaningful guest work, the service keeps a pending copy in server memory for up to 30 minutes while authentication and any keep-or-replace decision finish. The browser receives only a random one-time correlation token, not the financial payload. The pending copy is removed when it is claimed or discarded, or by scheduled cleanup after it expires.

We retain account and planning information while it is needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, legal, and operational purposes. The current pre-production target is deletion after 24 months of account inactivity; the final retention period will be confirmed and published before public launch. Some diagnostic records may use shorter schedules. Limited records may be retained longer when required by law, needed to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or complete a deletion from protected backups.

Snapshots and goal versions are intentionally retained as historical records until you delete them or your account data. They are not silently rewritten when a saved budget changes.

Generated export files are not kept as durable server files. A value-free activity or security record may note that an export was requested, succeeded, was rejected, or failed, without storing the file or its financial contents.

Google Analytics cookie duration and Analytics-property retention are controlled separately. The Cookie Notice identifies Google's default cookie duration. Google Analytics may retain event and user-level analytics according to the retention controls configured for the Analytics property. Rejecting analytics stops future page-view collection from this browser and removes accessible Analytics cookies, but it does not retroactively erase previously aggregated reports.

The production Azure SQL configuration uses encrypted automated backups with up to 35 days of point-in-time restore, weekly long-term-retention backups retained for 12 weeks, and monthly long-term-retention backups retained for 12 months. These are retention policies and do not mean that every possible weekly or monthly restore artifact already exists. Staging uses seven days of point-in-time restore and no long-term retention. On July 18, 2026, a production point-in-time restore drill created an encrypted disposable copy, verified the expected application schema and database integrity without returning financial rows to the operator, and deleted the copy without replacing or modifying production. That result proves the tested restore point was usable at that time; it does not guarantee every future recovery. Point-in-time and long-term-retention restores must continue to be tested periodically. Deleted live records may remain in protected backup copies until those copies expire on their configured schedule.

Guest product-feedback records last only for the current live application session and are not delivered as a cross-user submission queue. Explicit local DevelopmentDurable mode stores feedback under its configured fake owner for testing. Signed-in durable feedback is isolated to the authenticated owner and uses submission abuse controls; the current service remains pre-production.

Deletion and your choices

You may use the service's Delete all my data control when account persistence is enabled, or contact us to request deletion. Identity verification or reauthentication may be required to prevent unauthorized deletion. Deletion is designed to cover plans, items, snapshots, goals, household data, and user-visible activity history and product feedback owned solely by you. Shared household information may require additional handling to protect other household members' rights. Deletion removes live records; protected backup copies expire on the backup schedule and are not available through the application as a recovery feature.

You may also download the copies described above, stop using the service, correct entered information by replacing or creating a new plan version, and turn optional analytics on or off in Settings. To exercise a privacy or deletion request, contact legal@easybudgetchecker.com.

Security limitations

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including managed cloud services and access controls. No online service, authentication provider, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Do not treat Easy Budget Checker as a vault for sensitive documents or account credentials, and use only the information needed for planning.

Children and international availability

The service is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 18. It is designed and offered only for residents of the United States, uses USD, and is not intentionally offered or localized for the EU or EEA.

Changes and contact

We may update this notice as the service or law changes. Material updates receive a new version, and we will request a new acknowledgment when required. Questions, deletion requests, and privacy requests may be sent to legal@easybudgetchecker.com.
